In this beautiful Shir HaMa'alos, Dovid HaMelech sings of the sweet and pleasant sweetness of achdus, describing the beautiful sight of brothers dwelling together in true unity. He compares this holy togetherness to the precious anointing oil running down the beard of Aharon HaKohen, and to the refreshing dew of Mount Hermon descending upon the holy mountains of Tzion. It is specifically there, in the merit of this beautiful unity and connection, that Hashem commands His eternal blessing and life for the Jewish people forever.
