We see Hashem's absolute sovereignty over the entire creation, sitting enthroned even over the floodwaters as the eternal King. Yidden traditionally sing this beautiful mizmor with great joy on Shabbos Kodesh as we welcome the Shabbos Queen, and when we return the Sefer Torah to the Aron Kodesh, drawing down Hashem's blessings of strength and peace upon His beloved nation.
