In this beautiful kapitel, we sing of the absolute sovereignty of Hashem, Who reigns supreme, clothed in majesty and girded with strength. Even when the mighty waves of the sea roar and rise up, we know that Hashem is far more powerful in the heights, keeping the world firm and unshakable. This kapitel, which we say every Friday as the Shir Shel Yom for Erev Shabbos, reminds us of the eternal truth of Hashem's Torah and the holiness of His Beis HaMikdash for all eternity.
יְהוָה מָלָךְ גֵּאוּת לָבֵשׁ לָבֵשׁ יְהוָה עֹז הִתְאַזָּר אַף־תִּכּוֹן תֵּבֵל בַּל־תִּמּוֹט׃
נָכוֹן כִּסְאֲךָ מֵאָז מֵעוֹלָם אָתָּה׃
נָשְׂאוּ נְהָרוֹת יְהוָה נָשְׂאוּ נְהָרוֹת קוֹלָם יִשְׂאוּ נְהָרוֹת דָּכְיָם׃
